Interior design for a 3 bedroom residential flat in Hong Kong

The client is at his early 40’s and is the sales director of a luxurious automobile brand in China. He specifically requests the flat to look upscale and modern where he can invite business partners and clients over for meetings. Traveling frequently between China and Hong Kong, he would like to have a home office where he can work quietly while spending quality time with his family in Hong Kong.

With this in mind, the aim of this design is to bring together an urban, upscale and premium space and to integrate living and working space seamlessly. We converted one of the bedroom to a home office, with sleek built in monotone oak veneer cabinetry and the usage of muted earth colour tones, coupled with cold hard materials including grey tempered mirrors, charcoal sliding metal doors and fluted glass materials.

While the client is away, this office space has the option to be opened up to become a mini family room, allowing the family an extended space for the child to play.
